Version: 2026-03-28

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out rules for using Notlio's services, including the website, web app, APIs, and related systems (the "Service").

This AUP forms part of the Notlio Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Purpose

This AUP is designed to protect users, Notlio, and third parties from illegal, harmful, abusive, or disruptive activity.

2. You must not misuse the Service

You must not use the Service in ways that are unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or that interfere with operation of the Service.

Without limitation, you must not:

  • violate applicable laws or regulations;
  • infringe intellectual property or other rights of others;
  • use the Service to harass, threaten, abuse, or defame any person;
  • submit false, misleading, or deceptive information;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data;
  • probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without permission;
  • bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code except where legally permitted;
  • introduce malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, trojans, or other harmful code;
  • interfere with Service integrity, availability, or performance (including denial-of-service activity);
  • use automated means (bots, scripts, scraping, crawling) in a way that creates excessive load or breaches these terms;
  • send spam, unsolicited messages, or otherwise abuse communication features;
  • use the Service for market manipulation, illegal trading schemes, or other unlawful financial conduct;
  • impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • use the Service to process or store highly sensitive personal data unless explicitly permitted in writing by Notlio.

3. Security and account obligations

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your account credentials confidential;
  • using strong, unique credentials and protecting your devices;
  • promptly notifying Notlio at support@notlio.com if you suspect unauthorized account use or a security incident;
  • ensuring your use of the Service does not create security risks for Notlio or others.

4. Fair and reasonable use

You must use the Service in a fair and reasonable way.

Activity that may be treated as abusive includes, for example:

  • excessive API or feature usage that degrades service quality for others;
  • repeated failed login attempts or suspicious automated behavior;
  • attempts to circumvent product limits, plan restrictions, or billing controls.

Notlio may apply technical controls such as throttling, temporary blocks, CAPTCHA/challenges, or other anti-abuse safeguards.

5. Third-party services

The Service may depend on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, data providers, and payment processors).
You must not use the Service in a way that causes Notlio to violate third-party terms or acceptable use rules.

6. Monitoring and enforcement

To protect the Service and users, Notlio may monitor usage signals and investigate suspected violations, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may take one or more actions, including:

  • warning you;
  • removing or disabling access to specific functionality;
  • suspending or terminating your account;
  • blocking access from particular IP addresses, devices, or regions;
  • taking legal action;
  • reporting unlawful conduct to law enforcement or regulators.

7. Reporting violations

If you become aware of misuse, security issues, or abuse involving the Service, please report it to:

support@notlio.com

Include relevant details so we can investigate promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

Notlio may update this AUP from time to time.
Updated versions take effect on the stated effective date.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated AUP.

If this AUP conflicts with applicable law, applicable law prevails to that extent.
